Commentary:
The session was a success; students were very attentive during the talks and explanations. Practical session was more useful because students got hands on experience on how to carry out CPR and what to do in emergency situations. They asked a lot of questions regarding BLS and compared it to the first aid that they learnt. The feedback received were that they had enjoyed themselves and are now more confident of helping others when the circumstances call for it.
Group members of BLS group 1 hope that this program does continue but the program should have a more concrete structure and more than one session should be carried for each school.We also hope that first aid be taught before CPR, only then can the students see the actual steps they have to follow when helping a casualty.

Commentary:
The session was a success; students were very attentive during the talks and explanations. Practical session was helpful because students got hands on experience on how to carry out CPR and what to do in emergency situations. They were not that participative and only a few asked some questions regarding BLS as well as how to get into Medical school.
Even the teachers were very much excited about the whole experience and decided to give CPR a try! The feedback received were that they had enjoyed themselves and are now more confident of helping others when the circumstances call for it.
Group members of BLS group 3 hope that this program does continue but and more than one session should be carried for each school.We also hope that first aid be taught before CPR, only then can the students see the actual steps they have to follow when helping a casualty.

Commentary:
The session has achieved all the objectives; students were very attentive during the talks and explanations. Our group leader has conducted a great BLS introduction session and all the students gave their full attention. Practical session was more useful because students got hands on experience on how to carry out CPR and what to do in emergency situations. They also enjoyed doing an activity during the motivational talk. The feedback received were that they had enjoyed themselves and are now more confident of helping others when the circumstances call for it. They said that they never have a practical session before and this is an opportunity for them.
Group members of BLS group 2 hopes that we should continue this program and all the members must practice so the information is standardized. This program should have a more concrete structure and more than one session should be carried for each school because we did not have enough time during the practical session.

First Mission: SMK Bandar Damai Perdana - 3rd Trip
Commentary:
This was the last session of our program. We already know where to gather and the students we already waiting for us the moment we arrive. We were brought to a their music room as the hall was too crowded and noisy. Firstly, we prepared the projector for our presentation. The presentation was about how to treat and care for patients who suffer burn, bites and stings. The talk was quite long but the students were surprisingly more active and more attentive.
After the talk, we ask questions on the presentation to the students. It was good that the students are able to answer all the questions asked.
Next was a session where we ask them on all the things that we have done before and we gave them some prizes for volunteering and answering the questions asked correctly. At first, some of the students we reluctant to raise their hand but when one of the student started to answer and receiving prizes, most of them are queuing to answer.
Finally, we had a photo taking session. The students were really friendly and some of them were excited to take pictures with us. Some even ask for our email.

Commentary:
This session of BLS program, we taught them on how to do First Aid. This time it was much easier to communicate and teach them as it is already the second time we have been to the school and most of the students are already acquainted with us. We started the session by dividing the students into 5 groups and started to teach them on all the principles of first aid. Then we let the students practice as we monitor the students.

Commentary:
This is the first of a three-part BLS program at the school. As this is our first time at the school, we did not know where to go when we first arrive. There was also no representative from the school that was expecting us when we arrive. Once a representative came, we were brought to the lab for us to prepare for our presentation. There were about 50 PBSM students of the school that came. The BLS presentation was very good and the presenters tried their best to involve the student as much as possible. The presenter also tried to make the presentation less boring by coming up with some jokes. However, I don’t think some student understood what we were talking about. Some were also too shy to participate when they are invited or when they are asked any question.
